Hi! Iā€™m Chasity.

Born and raised in the South. I love breakfast foods, getting outside, most things vintage, and catching up over good food or a cup of coffee.

After high school, I went to nursing school. I worked as a nurse for 10 years before I eventually saw it wasn't quite what I had envisioned my life's work to be. I chose nursing as a career for many reasons, but mostly because I wanted to help people and I liked learning about the biology of the human body.

Towards the end of high school and in my college years, I got sucked into some not so healthy health trends- keeping calories around 1,000 per day, drinking diet drinks like they were water, fat free everything, juice cleanses, trying to use agave nectar to make sweet tea, and I'm sure a few more things.

When I started to have my own health challenges, it was a little overwhelming and confusing trying to figure out what to do and where to go. I did a few Whole 30 rounds, an elimination diet, and a lot of testing at the doctor's office. That's how I landed at the Nutritional Therapy Association. I wanted to go back to the basics and learn the foundations from a nutritional standpoint (and honestly the refresher in biology was nice too). I am a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner now. I'm here to share the basics of health and wellness and help you listen to your own body (because there is no one size fits all).
